Keep getting results

When you get the results you're after, that's great. When the results fall short of your expectations, that's great too because you gain valuable knowledge and experience.

If you're going through a difficult stretch, keep going and you'll get yourself beyond it. If you're getting unsatisfactory results, keep making the effort, keep getting results and as you grow more effective with each attempt, you'll eventually get it just right.

With each action you take, you make a difference. The more experience you have at making a difference, the more skillful you become at making that difference exactly what you want it to be.

Look back at how far you've come since you started. See and understand how even the disappointing results have helped you to find your way forward.

With every effort, regardless of the outcome, you've made a step in the direction of the results you seek. Always expect the best, no matter what has happened before, for your results will move steadily toward your expectations.

Keep going, keep making the effort, keep making a difference and keep getting results. Each day, each action brings you ever closer to the goal.

Imagine intensely

Imagine yourself filled with energy and enthusiasm. The more vividly you imagine it, the more real that energy and enthusiasm become.   See yourself working with purpose, focus and discipline. Imagine yourself being positive, decisive, and eager to take whatever action is necessary.

Imagine yourself being the person you've always wanted to be. Imagine, in rich and glorious detail, living the life you've always dreamed of living.

Imagine a positive and fulfilling image of yourself, doing what you know is right for you, giving your very best to life. Imagine living each day with positive purpose, love, compassion and effectiveness.

Imagine yourself surrounded by beauty, experiencing true joy and fulfillment. Imagine yourself always finding a way to make a valuable contribution to each and every moment.

Imagine yourself at your absolute best, and hold that image firmly in your mind, day after day and moment by moment. Imagine intensely and persistently, and you will make it be.

WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT CHANGE‏

There are many things you can change, and there are many things you simply cannot change. Both kinds of things can add value to your life.   With the things you can change, you have the opportunity to improve the circumstances in your own life and in the world around you. In dealing with the things you cannot change, you can grow stronger and develop real wisdom, patience, acceptance, and flexibility.

There is much you can learn from the things you cannot change. You can use that knowledge and experience to positively affect those things you can change.

The things you cannot change give you a base from which to work. The things you can change give you an ever-increasing world of possibilities.

By gently accepting what you cannot change and finding positive ways to deal with it, you lay the groundwork for success. By understanding what you can change and finding positive ways to put that change to work, success and achievement begin to happen.

What a blessing it is to live in a world where there are both things you can change and things you cannot. Each turn of events, in its own way, gives you the opportunity for adding richness to life.

Just do

There is no need to try. Just do.   Feel what you feel without judgment or regret. Those feelings connect you with the power of your authentic purpose.

Use your head wisely to follow your heart faithfully. There's much that you can think, and yet even more that you can know.

Let the experience of each moment come, and then let it go. Rest assured that the goodness will stay with you always, because you love it so.

Be now in spirit where you would most like to be. Imagine waves of pure joy as they carry you along.

Somewhere within you, all is well, no matter when, no matter what. Feel the peace of knowing the beauty of who you truly are.

I've Learned

I thought you would enjoy this bit of wisdom that I have been sent....it really was an eye-opener...Enjoy!!
I've Learned:
That we are not human beings having a spiritual experience
we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience
I've Learned:That none of us is as wise as all of us
I've Learned:Not to wait until people do things exactly right
before praising them
I've Learned:
Praising one another is the strength of warriors
I've Learned:
That in this life success is not forever
and failure is not fatal
I've Learned:
That anything enjoyable and worth doing
does not have to be done perfect
I've Learned:
It's more important as a leader to be respected
than to be popular
I've Learned:
That trying is just a noisy way of not doing something
I've Learned:
Don't cheat yourself, it ain't worth it
I've Learned:
That sometimes when everything looks right it's still wrong,
And when everything looks wrong, it's still right
I've Learned:
You should take what you do seriously,
uplift others; esteem others higher than yourself
I've Learned:
At times it's good to dim your lights
this gives others a chance to enjoy the moment
I've Learned:
That the trouble with being in a rat race is,
even if you win you're still a rat
I've Learned:
That real understanding comes when people are safe from fear
I've Learned:
It's not only different strokes for different folks,
It's different strokes for the same folks
I've Learned:
That life is what happens to you
while your planning on doing something else
I've Learned:
People without revelation can not act by unction
People with revelation are compelled to act by unction
I've Learned:
A river without banks is a large shallow puddle
A person without convictions is without banks
I've Learned:
That there is absolutely no pillow as soft as a clear conscience
I've Learned:
That knowing where you are going is the first big step to getting there
I've Learned:
That you can watch a persons habits and you'll know their thoughts
I've Learned:
That spontaneous, inspired or gut actions are usually the right ones
I've Learned:
Weighing your actions can become burdensome,
forget them and move on
I've Learned:
Always admit your failures quickly and humbly,
the people already know when you've erred,
but they'll appreciate your right spirit
I've Learned:
To understand that not getting what you want
is sometimes a wonderful stroke of providence
I've Learned:
People really know when you care,
don't fake it because they will always remember
I've Learned:
Falling by failure is terrible, but failing to get up is fatal
I've Learned:
That difficulties and problems do not defeat people
lack of faith in ourselves usually does that.
I've Learned:
It is truly amazing how much you can accomplish
if you don't care who gets the credit

God Bless you!!!

Thank God for Good Fortune

What a joy and a privilege it is to be alive on this beautiful, one-of-a-kind day. Life is increasingly abundant and the possibilities have no end.

Just to experience it all is amazing. To be able to make a difference is truly a blessing with no equal.

Though it can be easy to feel sorry for yourself, doesn't that option seem rather silly? After all, just consider the incredibly good things you have going for you on this day, in this life.

Sure, there are some pains and problems. Yet they are easily overwhelmed by the countless opportunities for joy and fulfillment.

Life's goodness is so common and pervasive that you often don't even notice it's there. Choose today to notice it, choose to be thankful for it, and choose to make even more of it.

Celebrate your incredibly good fortune to be here on this day. Joyfully make it the best one yet.

START MAKING PROGRESS

The opportunities you have are too beautiful and too valuable for you to let them pass you by. Stop making excuses and start making progress.   What you imagine, you can begin. What you begin, you can finish.
It's all a matter of choosing to get it done. That's a choice you can make in any and every moment.

Sure, there are challenges and yes, you'll have to step outside your comfort zone to make the necessary efforts. The great thing is, you're fully capable of doing whatever it takes.

You can, if you will. You will, when you make it meaningful enough.

There's great value to be found as you make your way through this day. Seize the opportunity, make the necessary effort, and bring that value to life in your world.

For my Strength is made Perfect in Weakness

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9,10 KJV
Hebrews the 11th chapter of Hebrews, and the 30--32nd verse, beginning, talking about faith.
Now what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon... of Barak... Samson... Jephthah... David... Samuel, and of other prophets:
Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promise, stopped the mouth of lions,
Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, and out of weakness... made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the alien--the armies of the aliens.
Women received their dead raised unto life... and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
And others had trials... cruel mockings... scourging, yea, moreover of bonds... imprisonments:They were stoned, they were sawed asunder, they were tempted,... slain with the sword:... wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute,... and tormented;
Watch this parenthesis.
(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in the mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
... all these, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most...
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us.
And when we let our own light shine,
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
- Marianne Williamson

Fear is a normal reaction, but if you let it rule you,
 you’ll find
yourself out of balance because it will
keep you from reaching your
goals. Face fear with a sense of balance by accepting it
and taking action toward it.

What I Believe

I believe that God must be worshiped in Spirit and truth.  I embrace freedom in worship because the word says, “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (II Cor. 3:17).  My foundation is the word of God and I believe it in its entirety. I  believe That we can do what it says we can do, be who it says we can be, and have what it says we can have.

I declare that 2010 will be a year of purpose, a year in which I will pursue the promises of God; and in my pursuit, I will experience the manifested blessings that comes from having a relationship with God.

I declare that in this year I will invest in my spiritual growth, in my family, in my career and education.

I declare that I am  an over-comer and that the favor of God is continually flowing in my life.
This is the season to come to maturity. I will soar like the eagle.

Filled with Opportunities

What if the things you thought would hold you back actually were to provide you with new ways to move forward? What if within your greatest annoyances you could find your greatest effectiveness?   Instead of fighting against the perceived obstacles, take a closer look at them. Somewhere within each obstacle is a pathway for moving forward.

Consider that it's not the obstacle itself that's stopping you. What's stopping you is your assumption that you can be stopped.

Yet you can change that assumption. You can choose to find a successful way through the situation, whatever it may be.

The various challenges that come your way can be quite intimidating. Yet when you let go of the intimidation, you'll see that those very same challenges are filled with opportunities.

Embrace those obstacles, embrace those challenges. For they are essential components of your eventual achievement.

God is Awesome

This weekend was busy but so fulfilling.
I sing with my family (brothers ,sisters, daughter ,cousins, aunt) known as Morning Star Voices or aka MSV.
I've seen god come on the scene in such a way that I can only praise and worship him.
There are many lost souls out there waiting for someone to reach out to the to tell them that someone cares when they are hurting, when they are sick or they don't have food on their tables. Our God is Awesome.
He reigns in majesty but yet he came down to the people that everyone turned their backs on, the ones who people looked down on, oh but for the grace of God where would you and I be?
I thank god for his amazing grace and what so ever you may be going through remember that God knows the plan he has for you.
Let go and let God.

Jeremiah 29: 11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Calmly Determined

You can be determined without being frantic. You can be powerfully purposeful without thrashing around and bouncing off the walls.
Let your sense of determination come not from fear, but from love. Focus your energy not on what you wish to avoid, but on what you intend to create.
In a calm and peaceful spirit there is great power. When driven by a positive purpose, you'll always have the energy to move forward.

There may certainly be situations you detest, that you wish to move quickly away from. Yet when that is your only focus, when you're constantly looking backwards, you're more likely to stumble.

Choose where you do want to be, what you do want to experience and the life you do want to lead. Make your goals positive, and your actions will be immensely more effective.

Be calmly and persistently determined to achieve what you have chosen to achieve. And you'll find ways to put every day, and every circumstance, to work in your favor.

Total Acceptance

It is through total acceptance of what is, that you gain total control of what can be. By allowing life to come to you, you empower your purpose to radiate out from you.   You cannot successfully fight against what is. For the moment you choose to fight, you're fighting against a past that cannot be changed.

Accept the energy that comes to you in this now moment, whatever flavor that energy may be. Apply that energy to create a beautiful future filled with joy and positive purpose.

Embrace each circumstance as it comes into your awareness. By doing so you will gain access to its positive possibilities.

Live from a place of deep-seated peace. Instead of jumping into a reaction at every turn of events, exude a consistent, confident purpose.

Lovingly accept every bit of life as it comes your way. And you will always find much to truly love.

More determined than ever

Let your high expectations push you forward. But don't let them create disappointments that hold you back.   It's great when you expect the best. But it's important to keep in mind that you won't get all the way there immediately, on the first attempt

Instead of being discouraged by less than spectacular results, be encouraged by the fact that you're aiming so high. Double down on your expectations by becoming more determined than ever.

You won't instantly achieve what you set out to achieve. The fact that it will take a while to reach makes your goal all the more valuable.

Expect the best and if you fail to get it, continue to expect the best. Eventually you'll reach the goal, and it will be well worth all your positive persistence.

-- Ralph Marston

You know there are days when I feel the best of me is ready to give in, there are days when I feel like letting go and soaring on the wind, I've learned in laughter and in pain how to survive!
I get on my knees, where I stand before the light that changes me, I don't know how but I'm strong when I am on my knees.
His strength is made Perfect in my weakness.

Who Am I?

Who am I?

I am a beautiful woman created in the image of my father.

Not the person whose genes I carry but my heavenly father.

He knows me better than anyone I know.
Don’t judge me by the mistakes I have made but by who lives in me,
I have lied, cheated, caused pain to those I love and hated myself for it.

So my question to you is who am I?

I have been bought with a price; Jesus Christ himself came down to earth and died on the cross for my sins. Everything that I have ever done and ever will do Jesus took that all to Calvary.

I was traveling down this life’s road doing whatever pleased me, not caring who I hurt because inside of me felt empty. Life seemed so hard didn’t matter what I did I could not overcome my self.

One day I started to recognize who I was. It took me a long time to accept who God said I was
You see I am a daughter of the most high God, He is the king of king and lord of lords.

My father told me over and over again that he knew the plans he has for me,, 'plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future.'
Did I believe? No not for a long time, you see sometimes god tries us to see what we are made of,
He keeps coming to us in so many different ways, my child wake up! It’s you I am speaking off.

God! Why is it so hard to listen the first time you speak to us, why do we keep doing the same thing over and over again, I guess we are insane for Einstein said that is the meaning of insanity doing the same thing over And over getting the same results .

So I ask this question who am I to be loved by you, the way that I am the way that you do.

Have Faith in God!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
Today I was on a conference call listening to a gentleman by the name of Myron Golden{Trash man to Cash mam} and this is how he explained this portion of scripture.
"Now faith is where I stand on what I expect, while I prove what I cannot see."
Real faith you can only get in the now. Faith is what I stand upon and it keeps us grounded.
We can’t see the wind, or touch the wind, or taste the wind, we can only hear it, and feel it. Yet no one doubts that the wind exists. In many ways faith is like the wind; we can’t see faith or touch faith, or taste faith, we can only hear it, and sometime we feel it, and although no one doubts the wind, many doubt the faith.... although children generally believe.

Faith is a powerful thing. Faith is also a gift of God. God gives us a faith that can change our lives. God gives us a faith that makes us a new creation. God works faith through His Word. And as certainly as God has called us to follow Jesus our Savior, so God has called us to grow in faith. Sometimes children are examples of how we should be growing in faith [instead of growing out of faith]. Yet there are other examples of faith, the Bible is filled with their stories. Enoch, who by faith walked with God. Abraham, who by faith followed God to a new land. Sarah, who trusted the promise, and received the power to conceive. Faith is often tied to hope of new life. So by faith Moses led the people of Israel, looking forward to a new life in the promised land. The list goes on and on.
And the point of it all is to encourage you, so you might know that the grace of God is sufficient. The point is to encourage you, so that you do not loose hope, but instead, to remember the promises of God, the love of God, and the salvation that is ours in Jesus Christ.

Exercising control

Discipline is easier than it sounds. Discipline is nothing more than choosing, with intention and positive purpose, while considering all the consequences of making that choice.

Discipline is a matter of controlling the person over whom you already have the most control. That person is you.

When you focus on the consequences of each action you take, on the short term and long term consequences, discipline comes easily and naturally. Discipline is the recognition and celebration of the fact that your actions have influence.

By choosing your actions you can choose your results. By choosing your actions you can choose the life you create for yourself.

Discipline is not a punishment or a burden when you choose it for yourself. Discipline is one of life's greatest opportunities.

Choose in each moment to exercise the control that you already have. Live and act with discipline, and create a life of true fulfillment.

Choose to Focus

Is there something that frustrates you? Don't focus on the frustration, but rather on the opportunity for improvement.

Is there something that makes you angry? Instead of being consumed with anger, consider the opportunities for understanding.

Is there something that frightens you? Don't focus on the fear, but rather on the opportunity to better prepare yourself.

Is there something that makes you sad? Rather than focusing on the sadness, be thankful for the fact that you care so much.

Is there something that makes you anxious? Don't focus on the anxiety, but rather on the positive purpose you wish to achieve.

No matter what happens, you are always free to choose where to focus. Choose to focus on the positive, and you'll be choosing to bring great value to life.

Working Together

Moving towards one another requires you to seek to understand before seeking to be understood.
It is not all about you!
